Deshawn brings deep expertise in threat assessment, emergency response, crisis management, and strategic security planning. Backed by a Secret Security Clearance, Bachelor of Arts in Homeland Security and Emergency Management Degree and a suite of advanced certifications, he delivers mission-critical protection with precision, tactical expertise, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Desmond brings over a decade of elite operational experience to the private security industry. As a U.S. Marine with 8 years of active duty service, including two combat tours in Afghanistan, he developed a foundation of discipline, leadership, and tactical expertise. His role as a logistics chief refined his ability to plan, execute, and manage complex movements—skills that now drive the precision behind every operation his company handles.
As co-founder of this veteran-owned security firm, Desmond has overseen five years of successful armored transportation services and the expansion into executive protection & security over the past year. Under his leadership, the company has built a reputation for discretion, professionalism, and adaptability.

As Co-Owner of Black Talon Protection Group, his passion for security and protection spans deep into his upbringing.
